Koorosh Saxton

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP), Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Koorosh is an established Registered Massage Therapist who has been working at Academy Massage Therapy as an RMT for many years. Koorosh is now a registered Osteopathic Manual Therapist, (DOMP) combining his two skills sets to provide an organic pathway to improving your health and wellness. Koorosh has always incorporated aspects of osteopathy into his massage treatments, and now he is able to offer full manual osteopathic adjustments!

Koorosh believes osteopathy is a way of looking for imbalances, disequilibrium, and anything that could be in connective tissue or the nervous system that may be causing health issues. He will work with you to get your body to a place where there is more balance and more ease. Getting you to that place means improving your quality of life, typically incrementally through a customized treatment plan. He will work with you to understand what is and isn’t working in your current habits and lifestyle and develop a plan to bring your body back into a balanced state. Always learning, Koorosh continues to work on post-graduate studies at The Ontario Academy of Progressive Osteopathy. Koorosh works with all pain conditions and anyone looking to improve their quality of life.

Treatments with Koorosh are recognized by the majority of Manitoban insurance providers, including: Manitoba Blue Cross, Canada Life / Great-West Life, Maximum Benefits, and Chambers of Commerce Group. There may be exceptions, so please speak with our front desk staff or enquire about your plan directly.
